Running a waste transportation service business using transportation facilities consisting of land transportation (dump trucks, lorry trucks, tanks) and sea transportation, equipped with tools and equipment (GPS) and adequate documentation (waste labels, bar coding) to ensure transportation safe and smooth waste with predetermined transportation recommendations.
Carry out collection services and temporary storage services for waste in warehouses that have a design according to the requirements set by the competent authority.
Establish, use and manage a waste laboratory including the use of laboratory services to examine the elements forming waste (both from physical and chemical aspects) in order to determine the appropriate waste treatment process.
Carry out waste treatment services based on laboratory test results to reduce pollutant levels contained in waste.
Utilizing waste through a variety of efficient applied technologies to obtain economic value from waste.
Carry out environmentally friendly waste disposal services (eco-landfill) to ensure that waste is managed properly and permanently in nature.

The current shareholders in NHL are PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminum (Persero), PT Antam Resourcindo, PT Bukit Multi Investama and PT Timah Inventasi Mineral.
