PT SINERGI MITRA LESTARI INDONESIA or abbreviated SINERGI ID on August 29 2023 it was designated as a Shared Service Center for Managing Information Technology, Human Capital, Finance and Supply Chain Management operations within the MIND ID Group.
PT SINERGI MITRA LESTARI INDONESIA Founded in Jakarta as an initial legal entity by a consortium of four BUMN, namely PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminum, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, PT Bukit Asam Tbk, and PT Timah Tbk. The current shareholders in Sinergi are PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium, PT Antam Resourcindo, PT Bukit Multi Investama and PT Timah Inventasi Mineral.

Along with national development activities, the industry continues to grow and develop by providing benefits to the country and society. In addition to providing the benefits it produces, namely its products, the industry will also produce waste that is classified as hazardous waste and non hazardous waste. The upstream oil and gas activities are no exception, which continue to develop dynamically. According to data from SKK Migas, there are 283 oil and gas blocks in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia with details of 65 blocks already in production, 20 blocks in the production facility construction stage and the rest in the exploration stage. All stages of the upstream oil and gas business activities certainly produce waste which can be categorized as hazardous waste.
As stipulated in the applicable laws and regulations, hazardous waste must be managed specifically. Currently, the number of hazardous waste management companies in Indonesia is still limited. All of these companies come from the private sector and are mostly based in Java. With concentrated waste management locations and generally quite far from the producing location, transportation costs can reach ± 50% of the total waste management cost and have an impact on cost overruns (inefficiency).
Responding to the existence of business opportunities and the enthusiasm to increase the cost efficiency of waste management in cost recovery, SKK Migas and the Ministry of BUMN agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding on waste management resulting from upstream oil and gas business activities on March 13, 2017.
The BUMN Ministry then gave directions to a consortium of five BUMNs, namely PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, PT Bukit Asam Tbk, PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium and PT Timah Tbk and PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, to form a joint venture company engaged in the integrated waste management business. by using PT Aneka Tambang Tbk's affiliation, namely PT Jatim Arindo Persada and hereinafter named PT Panca Mitra Limbah Indonesia. Based on the Decree of the Board of Directors Number: 3/DIR/SK/NHL/11/2022, the Company's Organizational Structure consists of a Main Director who oversees three Directorates, namely the Main Directorate, the Operations and Technical Directorate and the Directorate of Finance, HR and General Affairs. The Main Directorate is led directly by the Main Director in charge of the following Divisions: Corporate Secretary, Internal Oversight Unit, Legal & Compliance, Marketing, IT Project Coordinator, and Procurement. Then for the Operations and Technical Directorate in charge of the Business Development, Operations and QHSE Division. And finally for the Directorate of Finance, HR and General Affairs in charge of the Division of Finance, and HR & General Affairs.
